Panel Upgrade
100 amp panel upgrade
Upgrade electrical service to 100 amp, including:
- Obtain permit
- Install new 1 1/4″ mast, weatherhead, 100 amp meter base and #3 gauge wire from weatherhead to new main panel
- Create 3 new permanent crimp type connections from utility company triplex line to new service wires leaving proper drip loop in wires
- Replace existing panel with Square D Homeline 100 amp main electrical panel with whole house surge protection and new breakers
- Label panel
- Install ground bushings on entrance conduits
- Install two 8′ X 5/8″ diameter copper clad steel ground rod outside and run continuous #6 gauge copper wire to meter base for proper earth ground
- Install #6 gauge copper bonding wire across the hot, cold and gas piping in the basement next to the new panel
- Install intersystem bonding strip for TV and telephone grounding
- Install 20 amp GFCI protected convenience receptacle at panel
200 amp panel upgrade
We can replace your existing 200 amp panel or replace your exiting 100 amp panel with a 200 amp panel, including:
- Obtain permit
- Install new 2″ mast, weatherhead, 200 amp meter base and #1 gauge wire from weatherhead to new main panel
- Create 3 new permanent crimp type connections from utility company triplex line to new service wires leaving proper drip loop in wires
- Replace existing panel with Square D Homeline 200 amp main electrical panel with whole house surge protection and new breakers
- Label panel
